Koh Rang Noi is a short 6 km from Phuket’s premiere Royal Phuket Marina. Koh Rang Noi is a beautiful tropical paradise that is 25 Rai. On arrival to the island you will moor on our floating pier and walk to the beach sala where you will be greeted by our staff with cold towels and maybe even a coconut. At the beach sala we also have a cooking sala and we eat many meals down by the water. Just behind the beach sala is our toy box where we house 15 jets skis, paddle boards, kayaks, and windsurfers. We also have 3 smaller sport boats for tubing and wake boarding along with 2 Hobie cats. We also have a Blue Water 70’ (foot) Yacht and a Majesty 56’ (Foot). We also have several other transport boats for pick up and supplies. When you’re on an island you need to have a lot of boats!
We have 3 separate villas. The very first Villa finished is located on the northern tip of the island with breath taking views of Phang Nga Bay and is very private. We call this the guest villa. It has four large bedrooms, a private pool and hot tub, and a lovely covered patio to enjoy dinner outside listening to the waves break on the beaches below. Each room has its own bathroom with separate bathtubs and showers. It also has a large great room with its own gourmet kitchen and dining area.
The upper villa as we call it has 7 bedrooms, one of which is very large with 2 separate bathrooms and its own lounge area, true master suite. All the rooms have a private patio for enjoying nature at its best. The great room is truly great. It is 455 sq meters, dining for 20, and also has a beautiful gourmet kitchen. Just to the west is the sunset patio. Some of the most beautiful sunsets can be viewed from there. The upper villa sports a 33 meter long pool with a hot tub for 20 and another smaller plunge pool or wet deck for sunbathing. The patio area is made for entertaining, 525 sq meters with a wet bar and BBQ sala at one end. Also for further entertainment just off the main patio is a 300 person amphitheatre that looks south towards Phi Phi Island and over looks Koh Rang Yai. Just below the amphitheatre is our Karaoke bar and entertainment centre. We have a 43 seat movie theatre with thousands of movies all on a network system that can be played in any room on the island. Just past the Karaoke room we have a wellness spa that has 6 foot massage stations and 7 private massage rooms, several with their own showers and bath rooms. The spa also has a steam room and an infrared dry sauna. Just past the spa is the full fitness centre with treadmills, ellipticals, cycles, rowing machines, a state of the art power plate, dumbbells, an inversion table, a full commercial grade Vectra work out centre, and a small Muay Thai boxing area.
The furthest Southern Villa, we call the lower villa, feels like you are right over the water. The lower villa has 8 rooms. This is the villa that the owners call home. With the right kind of notice they will move out if a party would like to rent this villa as well. It has the same basic layout as the upper villa with a few differences. We have a great game room just below the great hall. Pool, shuffle board, darts, air hockey table tennis, board games and a full wet bar for your drinking libations. There is a smaller fitness centre and a smaller spa but all very nice and fully functional. There is also a large hot tub outside. The large pool is very organic in shape and houses a great swim up bar with seats. There is also a very nice outside toilet for the pool users.
The patio is large with many sun loungers and umbrellas. The great room is again very large but very homey with lots of art from all over Thailand. I should mention that the island is really a tribute to Thai artisans of all kinds. Everywhere you look there is a Thai mural or some Thai sandstone carvings. Some of the lights where fashioned from the original Thai shadow puppets. I could go on and on about the amount of teak wood carvings. We had an entire village carving for months to do our doors and headboards, you really have to see it to appreciate it! All over the island there are places to sit and reflect on the beauty that is Thailand. We are in the process of building a tennis court almost on the water and should be finished this year. There are so many places to explore and even get lost on this small tropical island we call home!
