Oman’s exhilarating seaside oasis, nestled in the majestic Al Hajar mountains
Nestled between the dramatic backdrop of the majestic Al Hajar mountains and the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Oman, the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa consists of two equally stunning hotels; Guests staying in both the Al Bandar and Al Waha hotels, can enjoy full access to all of the facilities across both properties and also benefit from uninterrupted continuous wifi throughout the resort.
The rooms and suites in both properties are equally beautiful with their clean lines and modern finishes. The rooms at the Al Waha hotel have an entry level room size of 32 sqm each is a perfect getaway for families whereas the Al Bandar hotel entry level rooms have a more spacious 38 sqm of space as well as a balcony or terrace with views of the gardens, sea or pools.
Guests have access to a total of 19 bars and restaurants across the resort. There are seven main restaurants, two all-day dining outlets, two pool bars, two lobby lounges, six cafes and bars. Bait Al Bahr is the seafood restaurant with wonderful terrace views of the sea; BAB Lounge is hotel’s seaside rooftop bar; and Capri Court is contemporary Italian restaurant. Guests have access to two additional restaurants, Shahrazad and Sultanah, in the adjacent Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa.
The resort offers a glorious golden stretch of beach, six swimming pools and even a Lazy River ride where guests can cool off as they float between the two hotels’ swimming pools. For the more adventurous there are plenty of watersports options available including; hydro jet packing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, clear-bottom kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and much more.
When the time comes to chill out after all of that activity, head down to the lush gardens and discover the CHI Spa which features some of the largest and most luxurious private spa suites and villas in the whole of Oman.
