Low Season Travel: Zimbabwe

We are continuing our podcast series on low season travel in the African continent.

Most of us are not as well travelled in Africa as we are in other regions of the world.  And that includes me.  Yet, Africa offers some of the most incredible, awe-inspiring and breathtaking travel experiences available in our world.

As a continent, Africa experiences the tiniest fraction of incoming tourists as are seen in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australasia.  And yet, it is Africa which has some of the richest cultural heritage, wildlife, flora and fauna found anywhere on earth.

As our guest will mention. It’s only when you visit these incredible destinations for yourself, that you truly begin to understand.  Once you go, you know.

And so, as we seek experiences away from the crowds, join us as we embark on a journey to some of the least visited destinations in the world as we try to learn just why on earth Africa is so often overlooked when we consider our travel plans.

In this fourth episode, we’re joined again by Warren Pearson who is a Specialist Naturalist Guide, an explorer, a Photographer, a fellow of the Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and he’s completed projects with Animal Planet and National Geographic among many others.

Warren has travelled extensively throughout the African Continent and appeared courtesy of Africa Roam as part of our Low Season Africa Mini Series of Facebook and YouTube Live events which are held every Monday at 14:00 UK time.

This week, we catch up with Warren Pearson and Rouhet Oosthuizen, Founder and CEO of Africa Roam, to learn more about Zimbabwe during the low season months.

If you don’t know much about Zimbabwe, you may be intrigued to learn just how much more Zimbabwe offers during the low season months (and not just the mighty Victoria Falls)

Enjoy….
