Queen Victoria rode up the Pilatus on horseback in 1868. The Hotel Pilatus-Kulm was built there in 1890, and in 2010 this listed hotel was completely renovated. The Queen Victoria Restaurant was named in honour of the queen. Market-fresh cuisine using local produce is served. Richard Wagner is also one of the Kulm Hotel’s past illustrious guests.
Today, the hotel with its stunning 360 degree views is a charming and skilful blend of tradition and modernity.
