We don’t need to say any more than this. The Merchant has it all and it’s in simply the best and most central location in the city from which to explore on foot, allowing you to Visit Belfast, and really explore the city during the days whilst having a huge variety of pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. This is the hotel we stayed in during our visit and we would not have changed a thing.
We visited Belfast in January and we had 3 days of dry sunny weather, 3 nights of eating out in some great “wee” restaurants and drinking in the atmosphere of the pubs in the cathedral quarter where live traditional music is included. And as a few locals pointed out to us; “sure it never rains in the pubs anyway!” – We’ll drink to that! Slainte!
